CELEBRATE EMPLOYEE WELLNESS!

Every June, Employee Wellness Month is celebrated across the U.S. It’s an opportunity for employers and organizations to enhance existing wellness programs and encourage their employees to take proactive steps for improved physical, mental and emotional well-being in the workplace. Appreciate your employees Whole Health! Get your team excited, create camaroderie, show appreciation, rest, recharge, and restore your organization!

Here are some of our favorite well-being ideas to celebrate!

  • Launch a company wide challenge – steps, water-drinking, sugar free, or sleep themes

  • Attend a local 5k as an organization

  • Put on your favorite tunes while working, or make a playlist and share with your coworkers

  • Plan a book swap – everyone brings their favorite book and switch with your coworkers

  • Coordinate volunteering together – maybe this is meeting the needs in your local community or mission work in another country. This will create lasting bonds with your teams and bring a new perspective on life!

  • Schedule a Healthy pot luck for lunch – create your favorite nutritional lunch dish and experience a wide variety of dishes from different cultures with your colleagues

  • Host a virtual or in-person game night or lunch – healthy competition anyone?

  • Bring in a certified Breathwork instructor - enhance mental clarity, concentration, and creativity

  • Happy Hour! In person or virtual – make new friends

  • Start a journal – write down your thoughts to bring clarity and free up some head space. Daily positive affirmations are always motivating too!

  • Schedule coffee chats with your team – be present, listen, and enjoy a nice cup of joe together

  • Plan a Wellness Day – Biometric screenings can identify preventable chronic conditions and empower your team to take charge of their health! We all want a healthy, happy workforce!
